37 leaks plagued this three year old temple after each rain. Investigation of the buildng showed that the EIFS parapets were so badly cracked that no amount of sealant could stop the leaks. The stucco walls were poorly installed and badly cracked. So much water entered the building that two rooms in the temple school had such bad mildew that they were virtually unusable.
Building Diagnostics Associates prepared construction documents for replacing the EIFS parapet and entire north elevation of the building, and waterproofing the remaining elevations. We also provided bid services and construction administation. The building is now leak free and completely occupied.
